sorry for the poor photo quality, but i had only a second to capture the moment. and i think it was worth it. even though she'll certainly use this against me when she gets older. sorry, em. the kids have been growing at a rapid rate this year. we've discovered as we are entering a new season that none of the clothes we had packed away from last year are fitting. shoes are becoming too tight. sundresses are becoming shirts. so we've started a simple goodbye process that i think is quite nice. we say, "goodbye, dress. thank you for being good to me. have fun with your next friend." and we put it in a bag to giveaway to other children.
i think i'll start that little goodbye and thank you with a lot of things as i start to spring clean.
