my sketchbook for the sketchbook project is complete! and i even have a few days to spare. i have to send it in by the 15th of january, and this is actually surprisingly not last-minute by my standards. unsurprisingly, the more i sketched, the more ideas i had and the more satisfied i was with my work.
i signed up a couple months ago in hopes of getting rid of some of my self-constructed creativity blocks. i do not, by any stretch of the word, consider myself to be an illustrator or someone who can draw. i do enjoy it though and i thought this little project would be just the motivation i needed to get over myself and just draw. it turns out i was right! this was so fun, and i think i need to incorporate more sketching into my life.
if you are in one of these cities, stop by and see the traveling sketchbook exhibition. and you can look me up and see my book in person!
* my scanner isn't the best quality so the colors are a little skewed, but you get the gist.
